Pastor Liu Xing
I was born in a village in Baotou, China. I majored in physics at Inner Mongolia Normal University and in 1993 earned my Bachelor’s degree in Science. After graduation, I was assigned to teach in a high school. I met my wife Jinjing in 1996. In 1998, we confessed our sins, repented, and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of our lives on the same day. We were baptized together in a family church in China on the Easter of 2000. In 2001, I got a job offer from a company in Minnesota and we came to the US together.
In 2006, my wife and I attended Gospel For China Conference in Chicago, Illinois. During a particular session, I was moved and willing to devote my life to the Lord. In 2011, I confirmed the Lord’s calling and moved my family to Greenville, South Carolina, where I started to be equipped for God’s work at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and earned a Master’s degree in Divinity in 2016. In June of the same year, I accepted MMCC’s calling to be a full-time Minister and came back to Minnesota. On February 18, 2018, I was ordained by MMCC as a full time Pastor to serve God and His Church to this day. I currently live in Minnesota with my wife Jinjing, son Jesse, and daughter Grace.
